1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using edisonic.com.au (the “Site”), you agree to these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Site or purchase Goods/Services from Edisonic Energy (“we”, “us”, “our”).
2. Definitions
- Client: The person or entity purchasing Goods/Services.
- Goods: Electrical equipment, devices, or products (e.g., transformers, solar panels, inverters, laser etching machines).
- Services: Support, training, installation, or other services provided by us.
- Order: A request for Goods/Services submitted via the Site or through any approved communication channel.
3. Orders & Purchases
Product Descriptions
Goods are described as accurately as possible on the Site. Minor variations in colour, design, or specifications may occur. Technical specifications (such as laser safety compliance) follow AS/NZS IEC 60825.1 where required.
Pricing & GST
- All prices are listed in AUD and include GST unless stated otherwise.
- Shipping or delivery charges (if applicable) will be provided in formal quotes.
Payments
- Payment must be made in full before dispatch unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- We accept bank transfers and approved purchase orders.
4. Delivery & Risk
4.1 Delivery
Estimated delivery times are provided for guidance but are not guaranteed. Unexpected delays (such as supply chain disruptions) do not grant cancellation or compensation. Goods are shipped using trusted carriers.
4.2 Risk & Ownership
Risk transfers to the Client once the Goods are delivered. Ownership remains with Edisonic Energy until the full payment has been received.
5. Warranties & Returns
5. 1 Warranty Coverage
Goods include a 2-year warranty against manufacturing defects unless otherwise noted.
Exclusions include:
- Misuse or improper handling
- Unauthorised modifications
- Failure to follow operational instructions
- Consumable components (batteries, laser tubes, etc.)
5.2 Australian Consumer Law (ACL)
Our Goods/Services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.
- For major failures, replacement or refund may apply.
- For minor issues, repair or replacement will be provided at our discretion.
5.3 Returns
If Goods arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect, you must notify us within 7 days of delivery. Returned Goods must be unused and in their original packaging.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss (including lost profits).
- Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the Goods/Services concerned.
This does not limit liability for personal injury, death, or fraudulent behaviour.
7. Intellectual Property
All Site content—logos, images, text, product descriptions, documents—is owned by or licensed to Edisonic Energy.
You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute any content without prior written approval.
8. Privacy
Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available on the Site.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
Any disputes will be resolved under the exclusive jurisdiction of the NSW courts.
10. Amendments
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after updates constitutes acceptance.
